Why Boxers?

Boxers are the clowns of the dog world. There are few other breeds that wear their hearts on their sleeves. Boxers are great, active, all around dogs that need the training and structure that make them truly a challenge and a pleasure at the same time.

Why do such wonderful dogs end up in rescue?

Just like every other breed in the united States, people buy dogs because of their looks, because they saw one on TV because of their size - not because of how their personality matches with theirs. As wonderful as Boxers are, they aren't the dog for everyone. Research the dogs before you bring one into your home. Spay and neuter your pets. Make rescues go out of business.
