Our Available Dogs

Name: Trixie

Age: 3

Dogs: Yes

Gender: Female

Kids: Above 10

Cats: Unknown

Trixie is a wonderful dog. She is housebroken, leash trained and can stay free in the house

without any accidents of destroying anything. She is calm and mellow. We're not sure about

Trixie's history, but know that she has trouble hearing and seeing sometimes. It isn't a

disability to her and shouldn't worry you, however, we don't want her to get startled by

young, rambunctious children. If you're looking for a wonderful, low maintenance companion,

look no further - Trixie is the dog for you!

Name: Buster

Age: 8

Dogs: Yes

Gender: Male

Kids: Yes

Cats: Unknown

Name: Sprite

Age: 2

Dogs: Yes

Gender: Male

Kids: Yes

Cats: Unknown

Buster and Sprite are a bonded pair of boxers. We think they are father and

son, but they love each other and it would break their hearts to separate them.

Buster takes care of Sprite - he washes his face, bosses him around, and

most importantly, Buster acts as Sprite's "ears";. Sprite was born deaf, but

does respond to the hand signals for come, lay, sit, stay, and you won't find a

better dog on a leash!

Siberian Husky

Age: 11 months

Size: Large (60lbs)

Gender: Male

Dogs: Yes

Kids: Yes

Cats: Yes

Scout is a great dog. He is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. Scout is a Siberian Husky - he is NOT appropriate for a first time dog owner. Siberian Huskies are wonderful dogs but they are very independant, like to explore on their own, can be very stubborn, and are heavy, year-round shedders.. Scout will be placed with an experienced dog owner only.

Scout would prefer a home with playmates but without hardwood floors

American Staffordshire

Age: 2

Size: Large (60lbs)

Gender: Male

Dogs: Yes

Kids: Yes

Cats: Unknown

Adonis is a wonderful dog. He came to us from Best Friends Animal Rescue through their Hurricane Katrina rehabilitation program, Adonis and several other dogs were housed in a Las Vegas kennel for months - getting only one walk a week and no other interactions. Best Friends found trainers to come to rescue and rehabilitate these dogs - getting them used to people again as well as trained.

Adonis is shy at first but loves all people. He wiggles and wags and tries to crawl in your lap. A rambunctious puppy, he would be better in a family with older active children - he might overwhelm toddlers.

Adonis is very gentle and sweet. He loves to play - and his favorite toy is his water dish! He likes to pick it up and throw it around (empty, of course) Adonis needs a home to call his own.
